Event

NO HAZY. NO LAZY. LOTS O' CRAZY.

You’re invited to a crazy good time in a crazy mountain town, July 20. It’s the second annual Windermere SUP Cup, hosted by Windermere Real Estate, a stand-up paddleboard competition on the Clark Fork River in Missoula, Montana.

It features two races: the Elite Division which sports a $5,000 purse, and the Recreational Division, which sports a lot of laughing and fun competition for prizes. There’s also a Montana Luau with live music.

And the kicker? It’s all to raise money for maintaining and improving Brennan’s Wave, a water feature that routinely attracts pro kayakers and events from around the world and Watershed Education Network (WEN) an organization dedicated to fostering knowledge, appreciation and awareness of watershed health to the next generation.

IT MIGHT JUST PADDLE YOU.

BENEFICIARIES

Brennan's Wave
Brennan’s Wave was built in 2006. It’s hosted lots of sanctioned events, including
the 2010 US Freestyle Kayaking Championships. Funds will remove potentially dangerous debris, replace boulders that were dislodged from the North Channel close to Caras Park during high and extended spring flows and help repair a crack in the center channel.

WEN
Watershed Education Network is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering knowledge, appreciation, and awareness of watershed health through science and outreach. We’re growing the next generation of watershed stewards!

Volunteer

WE NEED YOUR HELP!

We'd never be able to pull off this event without volunteers. We need all kinds of folks to offer their time and skills. Tasks include everything from race check-in to safety boaters along the course to set-up/clean-up. All volunteers will get fed and receive a t-shirt for working their shift. Even if you plan to paddle, we will have a variety of volunteer opportunities before and after the race.

If you would like to volunteer, please sign-up below for our volunteer list. As we get closer to the event, we'll email all volunteers to announce available shifts, tasks and locations.
